US-based low-cost carrier JetBlue (NYSE: JBLU) posted mixed third-quarter financial results. The airline’s revenue figures held near guidance while costs overwhelmingly tracked better. The carrier still posted a wider net loss and ultimately guided to a softer revenue per available seat mile (RASM) band going into the fourth quarter. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) has announced that aviation entrepreneur Kenn Ricci and his wife Pamela have established two endowed faculty positions focused on innovation in aviation, aerospace, and space studies.  Ricci, a longtime figure in business aviation, is the principal of Directional Aviation Capital, the Cleveland-based investment group that owns a range of aviation businesses including Flexjet, Sentient Jet, and Nextant Aerospace. In September 2024, JetBlue announced plans to start opening airport lounges, at its two biggest hubs. This came after years of rumors, given that this was a weak point of the premium JetBlue experience. PARIS — France introduced a modernized version of its M51 submarine-launched strategic ballistic missile, a “major milestone” in the modernization of the country’s ocean-based nuclear deterrent, the Armed Forces Ministry said on Tuesday.The third and latest version of the M51 has new nuclear warheads as well as improved range, accuracy and capability to penetrate enemy defenses, the ministry said in an emailed statement. The Airplane Stalled Above The Runway Threshold, The Nose Dropped, The Nose Wheel Impacted The Runway, And The Airplane Flipped Over Analysis: The pilot reported that during the final approach for landing he made engine power adjustments to correct the airplane’s altitude, and the airplane slowed too much near the runway threshold. The pilot added power, but the airplane stalled above the runway threshold, the nose dropped, the nose wheel impacted the runway, and the airplane flipped over into an inverted position. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the wing, fuselage, and vertical stabilizer.
