German carrier Condor has ended 35 years of operating the Boeing 757 with a special farewell flight using the last example in its fleet. The aircraft carried over 100 passengers on a round-trip from Frankfurt to Vienna on November 5, 2025, before being retired from commercial passenger service. However, the remaining aircraft have been retired in recent weeks, with several…

We know that airlines are increasingly looking to unbundle their fare products, in order to maximize the amount of revenue they can extract from each customer. Historically, we’ve seen this come in the form of basic economy, though airlines are getting more creative with this strategy. We know that Delta is looking to unbundle all of its classes of service, including rolling out a basic business class. Comfort (formerly Comfort+) is the name of Delta’s extra legroom economy seating, and the airline…

Remember last year when Air France-KLM announced that it would be acquiring a nearly 20% stake in SAS? Once things became clear that the deal would go through, it was announced that the Scandinavian carrier would be hopping from Star Alliance to SkyTeam overnight – from August 31st to September 1st 2024. Similarly, with ITA Airways – the jump from SkyTeam to Star Alliance was prompted by Lufthansa Group taking a share of the Italian carrier.
