TheAirbus A350F, much like Boeing’s rival Boeing 777-8F cargo jet, has had its service entry delayed. It is worth keeping in mind that not all freighters are purpose-built, as many are conversions from older passenger aircraft. New ICAO regulations are coming into force in 2027, and Boeing has to deliver its final 27 Boeing 767-300Fs and 56 777Fs by then. The FAA has granted an extension to 2033, but the regulations remain in force internationally.source

Airbus delivered 78 new aircraft to 36 customers in October 2025, making it the best month for deliveries so far this year. This was also the manufacturer’s best October on record, far outpacing the 62 aircraft it delivered in the same month last year. Air Canada has unveiled a new Disney ‘Zootopia 2’-themed livery on its Airbus A220 aircraft, which will operate flights to various destinations in Canada and the United States. You may already know by now that Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s flag carrier, has ordered an additional ten Boeing 787-9s. This takes its firm orders and options to 15 frames. It remains to be seen how many will eventually operate. Elsewhere, Uzbekistan Airways has firmed up eight 787-9s, with 22 aircraft now due to be delivered. The F110-GE-129 afterburning turbofan will be equipped with the Axisymmetric Vectoring Exhaust Nozzle to provide thrust vectoring during VTOL operations and flight. Shield AI announced on Nov. 5, 2025 it has selected GE Aerospace’s F110-GE-129 engine as the powerplant for its X-BAT AI (Artificial Intelligence)-powered VTOL (Vertical Take-Off Landing) fighter. Additionally, Shield AI says the engine will also feature GE’s Axisymmetric Vectoring Exhaust Nozzle (AVEN) to provide the required thrust vectoring on the vertical flight.
