The UAE operator Air Arabia has announced the first-ever passenger service from Sharjah to the UK. Starting in March, it’ll begin a double-daily operation from the airport—which is located close to the ever-popular Dubai—to Gatwick. Earlier this month, multiple new airlines confirmed Gatwick service. The brand-new route was announced on November 24. It was not massively surprising. Another laptop mishap has forced United Airlines to make a high-altitude course correction. On 19 November 2025, Flight UA925, operated by a Boeing 767 from London Heathrow to Washington Dulles, diverted to Dublin Airport after a passenger’s laptop slipped into the narrow gap in a business-class seat. After departing Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on Friday, November 21, Southwest Airlines Flight WN-171 had to return to base as its cabin pressurization malfunctioned. The passengers bound for Chicago’s Midway International Airport (MDW) were transferred to a new plane after returning to base.
