Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has secured an agreement for up to six firefighting variants of the C909 aircraft at Singapore Airshow 2026. According to reports on February 3, 2026, COMAC signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Shanxi Victory General Aviation for three C909s, with an option to purchase three more. According to Aviacionline, the C909 firefighter can carry 10 metric tons of water or retardant and can accommodate 19 people onboard. Embraer unveiled the first C-390 Millennium for the South Korea Air Force (ROKAF) during the first day of the Singapore Airshow 2026, announcing it has entered the final phase of assembly. The French Navy will become the first operator of Airbus Helicopters’ new vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) version of the Aliaca drone system.
