Also: TSA Workers Forced to Give Back, TRACON Odor, ISS Medical Issues, Palm Beach Airport Rebrand Two AH-64 Apache helicopters from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade sparked a back-to-back suspension and unsuspension after getting filmed hovering over Kid Rock’s Nashville-area home on March 28. The videos quickly circulated on social media, racking up millions of views and thousands of comments wondering just how legal it is for military attack helicopters to get up close and personal with rock stars for fun. One of the country’s oldest operating airports will be permanently shutting down at the end of 2028, after the FAA inexplicably agreed to its shutdown and betrayed much of Western Aviation. This unfortunately clears the way for a massive urban redevelopment project on some of Southern California’s most valuable real estate. This comes despite major pushback from city residents and recent interest from carriers like JSX. The future of the Cleveland Air show is uncertain beyond 2026 as the city explores the possible closure and redevelopment of Burke Lakefront Airport (BKL). As part of that process, the air show has been asked to evaluate a remote or overwater format, according to a letter that the Cleveland Air Show sent to air show fans.
