Two newer models, the G700 and G800, are just gaining approval. Canadian authorities are still in discussions with the FAA over next steps. The type certification to Gulfstream’s G500 and G600 models happened on Feb. 15. The US Air Force is reportedly getting ready to clear the Boeing T-7 Red Hawk for production, formally transitioning the program from very prolonged development into actual output. The decision, known as Milestone C, comes more than two years later than once projected. The T-7 is the service’s bid to replace the aging Northrop T-38 Talon, which has trained fighter and bomber pilots since 1961. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) detected and tracked two Russian Tu-95 bombers, two Su-35 Fighters, and one A-50 early warning aircraft operating in the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Feb.19, 2026. NORAD then launched two F-16s, two F-35s, one E-3, and four KC-135s to intercept, positively identify, and escort the aircraft until they departed the Alaskan ADIZ.
