Singapore Airlines rolls out upgraded Premium Economy dining and amenities

Singapore Airlines has given its Premium Economy cabin a refresh, rolling out new dining options, champagne service, and eco-friendly amenity kits as of March 31, 2026.

It marks the first major update to the cabin class since it launched in 2015.

Champagne and porcelain

Premium Economy passengers will now be offered a glass of Charles de Cazanove Brut Tradition NV champagne shortly after takeoff. Meals will be served on custom-made porcelain serviceware and presented on linen-lined trays with proper silverware, a step up from the previous setup.

A printed menu card will also be provided, listing meal, snack, and beverage options available on board.

“Since its introduction in 2015, Premium Economy Class has become popular with our customers,” said Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines. “At Singapore Airlines, though, our philosophy is to never stand still.”

Over 200 new dishes

The airline has developed more than 200 new appetizers, main courses, and desserts for the revamped menu. Meals will include a seasonal appetizer, main course, bread, dessert, and cheese and crackers.

Appetizer options include garlic roasted prawns with smoked aioli and Patatas Bravas, broccoli salad with hot smoked salmon, and seasonal Japanese cold noodles with soba sauce. Main courses feature dishes like Beef Bourguignon with bacon, mushrooms, and potato gratin, Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodles), and Thai-style crab curry served with jasmine and brown rice.

Passengers can also pre-order from an expanded Book the Cook menu, which now offers up to 20 rotating dishes. New additions include Slow Braised Lamb Ragout, Sake Teriyaki salmon, and plant-based options like Mushroom Eggplant Meatballs. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours before departure.

For dessert, options include Chocolate Feuilletine Cake, Mascarpone Cream Cake, and Apple Crumble Cheesecake. Each meal also comes with a small chocolate bar and upgraded cheese and crackers.

Wines and beverages

The wine selection, curated by the airline’s panel of experts specifically for Premium Economy, includes the 2023 Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc and the 2022 St Hallett Faith Shiraz. Spirits, signature cocktails like the Singapore Sling, and a variety of beers are also available.

New non-alcoholic additions include peppermint and chamomile teas, along with Cadbury hot chocolate.

Between meals, passengers can request snacks such as almonds, cashews, potato chips, sandwiches, muffins, and flavored popcorn.

Sustainable amenity kits

On flights of seven hours or more, passengers will receive a new amenity kit made by Out of the Woods, a US-based manufacturer of eco-friendly products. The pouch is made from FSC-certified kraft paper fabric, while the eyeshades and slippers are crafted from recycled PET material. The included lip balm comes in biodegradable packaging.

Toiletries such as dental kits and moisturizers will continue to be available in the lavatory.
