Free AAdvantage Business Program 10K Bonus Miles New Member Promotion

AAdvantage Business is American’s free small business rewards program, and if you’re eligible and fly American with any frequency, it’s absolutely worth participating (it essentially lets you earn one bonus Loyalty Point and AAdvantage mile per eligible dollar spent on flights, beyond what you usually earn).

At the moment, we’re seeing a generous new member bonus for those who register for an account, making it the ideal time to sign-up, if you haven’t done so already (thanks to AwardWallet for flagging this).

Earn 10K bonus miles with AAdvantage Business

Through December 31, 2026, the AAdvantage Business program is offering 10,000 AAdvantage bonus miles to anyone who registers for the program with promotion code BNS10K. Bonus miles will post within six to eight weeks following the successful enrollment in the program.

AAdvantage Business is offering 10,000 bonus miles

I should mention that in order to be eligible to participate in the AAdvantage Business program, you need to have a business in the United States or Canada with a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or Business Number. However, even small businesses are eligible for this program, so that’s pretty awesome.

There’s no activity required to earn the 10,000 bonus miles in your AAdvantage Business account. Let me emphasize that with AAdvantage Business, miles are accrued to the business, and can then be shared with any company member, so they can redeem through their personal AAdvantage account.

There’s one main catch with the AAdvantage Business program, which is that in order to actually redeem the rewards you earn, you need to meet one of two activity requirements:

  • You must have at least five unique travelers who have credited flights to the AAdvantage Business account, totaling at least $5,000 in flight revenue over the course of a calendar year
  • Alternatively, you can be a Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® (review) member, in which case the minimum requirement is waived, and there’s no minimum to the spending or number of travelers

Maximize value by double dipping two limited time offers

There’s the opportunity to really maximize value here by taking advantage of two promotions. At the moment, the Citi AAdvantage Business Card (review) is offering a limited time welcome bonus of 75,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 within the first five months, among the best offers we’ve seen on the card. The $99 annual fee is even waived for the first 12 months.

So there’s value to taking advantage of both of these promotions:

  • First sign-up for the AAdvantage Business program with promotion code BNS10K
  • Once you’ve signed up for it, apply for the Citi AAdvantage Business Card (based on your AAdvantage account number, your new credit card should automatically link the two accounts)
  • This then lets you earn a total of 85,000 bonus miles, and because you have the credit card open, you’ll be able to actually redeem all of those miles

There are many reasons to apply for the Citi AAdvantage Business Card, and the unique double dipping opportunity some cardmembers are eligible for makes this one of my go-to cards for everyday spending.

AAdvantage Business is worth participating in

Bottom line

The AAdvantage Business program is offering 10,000 bonus miles to new businesses that sign-up with promotion code BNS10K. Assuming you’re eligible, this is absolutely worth taking advantage of.

The only catch is that in order to actually cash out those miles from your business account, you need to have qualifying activity. That could include having five travelers spend $5,000 in a year, or there’s the easier option, which is just to pick up the Citi AAdvantage Business Card. Just make sure you open the business account before you apply for the credit card, so that your card will then automatically correctly link to the account.
