Embraer Delivers 62 Jets In Q3 As It Sees Yearly Growth

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has released its order and delivery figures for the third quarter of 2025. Despite ongoing supply chain challenges, the plane maker notably increased its commercial jet deliveries during the period.

For the three months ending September 30, 2025, Embraer delivered a total of 62 aircraft, spanning both commercial and executive jets. This represents an increase compared to the same quarter last year, as well as a sequential improvement over the second quarter of 2025.

Embraer achieved its strongest third quarter yet for commercial aircraft deliveries, handing over 20 jets between July and September. The total included 11 Embraer E195-E2s (the largest aircraft currently in the company’s commercial lineup) along with seven Embraer E175s and two Embraer E190-E2 regional jets.

Notably, the commercial aviation segment outperformed both the previous quarter (2Q25, with 19 deliveries) and the same period last year (3Q24, with 16 deliveries). Meanwhile, during the first quarter of 2025, the plane maker delivered only seven commercial jets.

Embraer projects 2025 commercial aircraft deliveries to range between 77 and 85 units, with the midpoint representing a 10% increase compared to last year. As of September 30, 2025, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer had delivered a total of 47 commercial aircraft. This means the company will need to deliver 31 units in the final quarter to meet its full-year target. The fourth quarter, particularly December, traditionally accounts for a significant portion of Embraer’s deliveries, suggesting the company remains on track.

During the three-month period, Embraer delivered a total of 41 aircraft in its executive jet segment. This represents an increase from the previous quarter, when the company delivered 38 aircraft. However, the segment showed no year-on-year growth, as Embraer delivered the same number of executive jets in the corresponding quarter of 2024. In Q1 2025, the company delivered 23 executive aircraft.

Third-quarter deliveries included 20 Phenom 300s and three Embraer Phenom 100 in the light jet category. Meanwhile, midsize jets accounted for a smaller share, with 11 Praetor 500s and seven Praetor 600s delivered during the period. Embraer anticipates delivering between 145 and 155 private jets in 2025.

Beyond its executive jet deliveries, the company also handed over one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport aircraft, bringing Embraer’s total deliveries for the quarter to 62 units.

Massive Embraer E195-E2 Order From The US Airline

Avelo Airlines announced in September that it signed for 100 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. This will make Avelo the United States’ first operator of the type, and will complement the low-cost airline’s existing fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft. The carrier says its Embraers will allow it to “modernize” its fleet and further improve cost efficiency and network reach. The manufacturer will begin deliveries of the type in the first half of 2027.

The airline also highlighted the importance of the aircraft’s “short-field performance,” which will provide further benefits to the carrier’s overall operation. Avelo has signed for 50 E195-E2s with a further 50 options, amounting to a total value of $4.4 billion based on list prices. It is assumed, as with most airlines, but especially for an order of this magnitude, that Avelo will enjoy a discount off the public value of each of the planes.

Although not a US carrier, LATAM Airlines Group placed a significant order for the E195-E2 in September, totaling 74 aircraft. The deal includes 24 firm orders and options for 50 additional jets, with deliveries set to begin next year. Indeed, from the second half of 2026, LATAM Airlines Brazil will begin receiving these modern regional jets, with the group remaining open to deploying the type at some of its other subsidiary carriers further down the line. With the firm orders alone valued at $2.1 billion, this represents a significant commitment from LATAM
