Capital One is known for its network of Capital One Lounges, as there are currently five locations in the United States. In addition to that, we’ve also seen the card issuer launch the Capital One Landing concept, which is essentially somewhere between an airport lounge and restaurant.
The first of these locations opened in November 2024, at Washington National Airport (DCA). We’re now just days from the second location opening, at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA). This is super exciting, as I know many of us have been anticipating this for quite some time (the opening sure has been drawn out!).
Capital One Landing New York LaGuardia basics
On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, we’ll see the opening of the Capital One Landing at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA), located in Terminal B, on the bridge to Concourse A. It’s described as the “flagship” location for the Capital One Landing concept, which is a culinary-focused offering in partnership with Chef José Andrés and his team.
The Capital One Landing LaGuardia spans 12,500 square feet, and the idea is to address the general issue that many people have with food at airports — they may be hungry and may not have much time, but still want something decent to eat.
Here’s how Capital One describes the new Capital One Landing location:
Spanning 12,500 square feet, the space is designed to feel less like a traditional airport lounge and more like a chef-driven dining destination travelers would be excited to encounter anywhere, not just at the airport. At the Capital One Landing at LGA, guests can expect:
- World-class Spanish Ingredients, Flown in Before You Fly Out: Spanish-style tapas are curated by Chef José Andrés and the José Andrés Group, featuring favorites like pan con tomate, croquetas, and gambas al ajillo, made with high-quality ingredients, including staples like jamón and olive oil sourced directly from Spain. The menu also introduces , alongside new dishes developed for LGA, including patatas bravas, vegan chilaquiles, taco de chilorio, and coconut sticky rice with mango. The beverage menu blends Spanish classics and inventive twists, with cocktails like the Perfect Gin & Tonic Landing G&T and New York Sour, as well as non-alcoholic options like the Fresa y Piña and Flamingo Shuttle.
- Michelin-Level Standards, Designed for the Pace of Travel: The hospitality-led experience takes cues from José Andrés Group restaurants, delivering elevated service at a pace built for the airport. The space is supported by a 2,250-square-foot, purpose-built kitchen designed to execute fresh, made-to-order dishes efficiently. Guests are welcomed by a host and seated at a table, with the flexibility to enjoy prepared tapas from the bar, order drinks, or request made-to-order food and beverages via QR code for delivery directly to their seat.
- Signature Daily Rituals That Create Memorable Moments Tableside: Capital One’s signature Daily Rituals come to life through roaming carts that deliver elevated moments tableside. New experiences at LGA include goat cheese-infused tomato cones and tableside martini service, alongside returning guest favorites like caviar cones, gin and tonic, and mimosa carts first introduced at DCA.
- Iconic Views That Turn Terminals Into Places Travelers Want to Spend More Time: The flagship Landing features two distinct spaces – a lively interior and a light-filled terrace – with soaring ceilings, skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and lush greenery offering sweeping Manhattan skyline views. Anchored by a bold 30-foot mural by New York-based artist Amrita Marino, the space pairs visual impact with essential airport conveniences, including integrated power at every seat, dedicated luggage nooks, fast WiFi, and private restrooms.

Capital One Landing New York LaGuardia access requirements
Access to the Capital One Landing concept is intended primarily for those with the Capital One Venture X (review) and Capital One Venture X Business (review). With recent Capital One lounge access changes, the policy is a bit more nuanced than in the past.
The primary cardmember always receives access when on an eligible ticket. Meanwhile the ability to bring one guest is based on reaching the $75,000 spending requirement per calendar year. Authorized users only get access if you elect to pay for authorized users to receive lounge access.
Cardmembers can guest others into lounges for $45 each, and non-cardmembers can purchase access for $90 each. The cost in all cases is the same for kids, except those under two, who can access the space for free with an adult.
The Capital One Landing can be accessed up to three hours before a departing flight, or if you’re connecting, it can be accessed earlier than that.
Bottom line
The long anticipated Capital One Landing at New York LaGuardia is just days from opening. The facility is described as the flagship Capital One Landing location, and it’s quite big, at 12,500 square feet, with a beautiful terrace concept.
I’ve had amazing visits to the Capital One Landing at Washington National, and I can’t wait to check out the location at New York LaGuardia. Airport food doesn’t get much better than this, so it’s something travelers will certainly appreciate. LaGuardia Airport sure has come a long way!
