Apple’s Wallet Key Turns Into a Full Trip Pass, With Disney as Launch Partner

Apple is expanding what keys can do in Apple Wallet — and Walt Disney World will be a launch partner this fall, representatives from the companies confirmed to Skift.

The update builds on Wallet keys that already let guests use an iPhone or Apple Watch to unlock hotel rooms and amenities. Brands can allow customers to start the check-out process or review their folio from an Apple Wallet key — by tapping a button, a guest could jump directly from Wallet to the partner’s own app or website.
