The deal runs through December 2035 and covers Initial Pilot Training, the first phase of student pilot training. M1 Support Services announced it has been chosen to advance to Phase II of the U.S. Army’s Flight School Next competition. The Army wants a Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated single-provider solution for its Initial Entry Rotary Wing student pilots. The bill to pay air traffic controllers in the event of future government shutdowns appears to be in trouble in the House. Prospects appear to be worsening for House transportation leaders’ effort to pay air traffic controllers during future government shutdowns.
