2025 Dubai Airshow: Attending Aircraft Revealed

Last Updated: 08:00 EST NOV 14, 2025 by Tom Boon

The 2025 edition of the Dubai Airshow is under a month away. As the region’s biggest airshow gets nearer, the organizers have now released a large list of attending aircraft.

200+ aircraft are expected to be on show at the 2025 Dubai Airshow, up from 192 at the previous airshow in 2023. So far, the organizers and exhibitors have announced over 80 aircraft.

Which Aircraft Are Already Confirmed?

As mentioned, only around a quarter of the expected aircraft at the Dubai Airshow this year have been confirmed. It’s no surprise that the likes of Airbus and Emirates will bring a full complement of planes. However, there are some aircraft missing, which we’ll touch on later. Aircraft already confirmed for the show in alphabetical order by exhibitor include,

What About The Flying Display?

Credit: Tom Boon | Simple Flying

Organisers of the Dubai Airshow have revealed that the flying display lineup will only be confirmed each morning ahead of the show. We do have some early insights into the expected aircraft, however.

It has been confirmed by Emirates that the show will open with a flypast by the airlines of the UAE, accompanied by Al Fursan, the UAE’s air display team,

“Emirates will open the flying display of the first afternoon of the airshow with a special fly past including the Airbus A350, A380 and the Boeing 777, joined by other UAE-based commercial airlines.”

Boeing has also revealed that we will get to see two aircraft in the flying display from their military lineup. These are the P-8 Poseidon and the B-52, also seen flying past at 2024’s Farnborough Airshow.

Highlights Of The 2025 Lineup

The 2025 show offers many aircraft that have not been shown at the Dubai Airshow before. Some of the highlights on show this year include:

  • COMAC’s C909
  • COMAC’s C919
  • Etihad’s Airbus A321LR
  • Emirates’ Airbus A350-900

This Dubai Airshow will be the furthest west that COMAC has shown off the C909 and C919, having previously shown both off at the Singapore Airshow. Emirates took delivery of its first A350-900 around a year ago, while Etihad took its first A321LR in July, meaning both were not able to show them at the last Dubai Airshow. It seems as though Riyadh Air, a standout at previous airshows, will not be bringing an aircraft of its own along this year.

Boeing Is Only Bringing The 777X

Credit: FlightRadar24

Boeing has now confirmed its aircraft line-up for the airshow. This year, the planemaker is only bringing the delayed 777X itself. Meanwhile, other aircraft such as the 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 747-400 will be shown off by the airline’s customers. The Boeing 777X has been seen practicing its airshow display at Moses Lake in recent weeks.

This will be the first major airshow where Boeing has displayed the 777X since the 2023 edition of the Dubai Airshow. The planemaker didn’t take any aircraft to Farnborough 2024 or Paris 2025. Emirates has been very vocal about the 777X delays in recent years, and it will be interesting to see what Tim Clark and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum have to say on the matter this time around
